Open to all levels, from first timers to advanced surfers, you’re going to have an epic time with Waves Surf School. We will either get you up and standing for the first time OR we will give you tips on how to take the next step up for your current level.

Learn to Surf Day Trip - from $175

Escape the busy city beaches and learn to surf on crowd free waves on a Waves Surf School Day Trip. Trips are run on the edge of Botany Bay National Park on a private access beach. You surf beaches off the tourist track, to a special location only locals know.

Surfing Day Trip includes:

Surf Coaching (all levels)
Surf equipment hire – Boards and wetsuits
Water Safety and Ocean knowledge
Return Transport from Bondi, Central OR Ramsgate
Delicious lunch

Learn to Surf Half Day Trip - from $139

For a learn to surf group lesson, join a half day learn to surf adventure that includes return transport to a private access beach, from the centre of Sydney. Take out the hassle of public transport, so you can spend more time focussing on your surfing.

Surfing Half Day Trip includes:

Surf Coaching (all levels)
Surf equipment hire – Boards and wetsuits
Water Safety and Ocean knowledge
Return Transport from Central Station
Post surf snack

Weekend Surf Camp - $495

Head away for a weekend of sun, surf and memories. Surf Camp is run in the Seal Rocks area (approx 4 hours north of Sydney). It’s off the tourist map, and you’ll be visiting one of Australia’s hidden local gems. All surfer levels welcome.

Surf Camp Includes:

3 Surf Lessons
2 nights share cabin accommodation
All meals once at accommodation
Surf Equipment

Surf Yoga Weekend Escape - from $950

The mantra for the Waves Surf Yoga Weekend Escape is Escape, relaxation, freedom, friendship, surfing and yoga, and is open to all levels of surfers and yogis.

Jump on the Waves bus from Sydney (or drive yourself) and travel 3.5 hours north to Pacific Palms area (including Seal Rocks). The region offers a number of beaches that allows us to work with different swell and wind conditions, meaning no matter what the weather is doing, we’re bound to find suitable waves.

Surf Yoga Escape includes:

3-4 Surfs
Surf Coaching and video analysis
2 sunrise yoga sessions
2 nights accommodation (room share variations)
All meals once at accommodation
Surf and yoga equipment

C'était une super journée avec Dean , on a rigolé toute la journée,  j'ai surfé pour la première fois de ma vie , une séance vraiment cool , les débutants allez-y,  c'était génial,  Dean rend le surf super , on a mangé un truc délicieux,  pris le temps de faire des photos , on a vraiment eu le temps pour surfer, les 7h sont passé tellement vite !! Petit conseil , si Dean vous hurles CHICKEN CHICKEN , c'est qu'il est fière de vous !!!😂

Whilst I had no delusion that I’d be any good at surfing, I thought he would be and that we would both find it fun and enjoy it. Us and 2 other people were picked up by Deano and 3 other family members/friends of theirs, and this made for a very close knitted experience! It felt like we were just having a day out at the beach with friends - the drive there and back was enjoyable in the back of a jeep; like hanging out with people you’ve known for a while. The actual surf lessons weren’t too long but detailed and informative. We also got treated to a small but lovely tasting BBQ on the beach. Deano was funny and reminded me of a drill sergeant - he sounded strict, but it was all jokes! I was laughing and smiling constantly. When it was clear I was the slow learner of the group he gave me extra help and I managed to stand up a few times and ride! Highly recommend, even as first timers. The beach was quiet and not too crowded as well.

Jay Jay was so kind and managed to organise a last-minute surf lesson at Bondi Beach for us. Everything was perfect, from the pick-up in Sydney to seeing the kids actually surfing after their two-hour lesson.

Deano was incredibly kind and professional, and absolutely wonderful with the children. They loved every minute of it!

"I did the 2 day surf camp with 4 other girls and had the most incredible time with Deano, Elmo and Justin. They are very accommodating, loads of fun, and awesome instructors. "I have to admit this was one of my favourite activities whilst I was in Sydney and felt it offered really good value for money. The tutor was patient, enthusiastic and we were taken to an excellent beach for those who are new to surfing. We were provided with a healthy and plentiful lunch, some great photo's were taken and the tutor made a real effort to make sure that everyone was talking and having an enjoyable time. . "
