Kids Holiday Surf Camps - Day Trips - from $180
Our Sydney Kids School Holiday Surf Day Camps are nothing short of EPIC.
They run over 2 and 3 days, and are held at a private access beach with crowd free waves. They are an amazing day outdoors.

- Ocean and Water Knowledge & Safety
- Boards & Wetsuit Hire (if required)
- Return Transport from Eastern Suburbs & Ramsgate
- Lunch and snacks
Kids 3 Day / 4 Night Surf Camp - $935
These camps are open to intermediate to advanced surfers. Kids must have their own surfboard & wetsuit. (If you’re not sure of your kid’s level, contact us and discuss).
The camps are held around the Pacific Palms area (near Seal Rocks).
The main focus of these camps is improving kid’s surf level and ocean knowledge, and of course loads of fun, laughter and life time memories.

Learn to Surf Adventure - Day Trip - from $175
Escape the busy city beaches and learn to surf on crowd free waves on a Waves Surf School Day Trip. Trips are run on the edge of Botany Bay National Park on a private access beach. You surf beaches off the tourist track, to a special location only locals know.
Surfing Day Trip includes:
- Surf Coaching (all levels)
- Surf equipment hire – Boards and wetsuits
- Water Safety and Ocean knowledge
- Return Transport from Bondi, Central OR Ramsgate
- Delicious lunch
Learn to Surf Adventure Half Day - $139
For a learn to surf group lesson, join a half day learn to surf adventure that includes return transport to a private access beach, from the centre of Sydney. Take out the hassle of public transport, so you can spend more time focussing on your surfing.
Surfing Half Day Trip includes:
- Surf Coaching (all levels)
- Surf equipment hire – Boards and wetsuits
- Water Safety and Ocean knowledge
- Return Transport from Central Station
- Post surf snack
Weekend Surf Camp - $495
Head away for a weekend of sun, surf and memories. Surf Camp is run in the Seal Rocks area (approx 4 hours north of Sydney). It’s off the tourist map, and you’ll be visiting one of Australia’s hidden local gems. All surfer levels welcome.
Surf Camp Includes:
- 3-4 Surf Lessons
- 2 nights share cabin accommodation
- All meals once at accommodation
- Surf Equipment
Surf Yoga Weekend Escape - from $850
The mantra for the Waves Surf Yoga Weekend Escape is Escape, relaxation, freedom, friendship, surfing and yoga. It’s open to all levels of surfers and yogis.
Jump on the Waves bus from Sydney (or drive yourself) and travel 3.5 hours north to Pacific Palms area (including Seal Rocks). The region offers a number of beaches that allows us to work with different swell and wind conditions, meaning no matter what the weather is doing, we’re bound to find suitable waves.
Surf Yoga Escape includes:
- 3-4 Surfs
- Surf Coaching and video analysis
- 2 sunrise yoga sessions
- 2 nights accommodation (room share variations)
- All meals once at accommodation
- Surf and yoga equipment
Kids Parties
Get a group of kids together and let Waves entertain them.
Birthday parties, sport teams end of season celebrations, end of year break ups – or any excuse to celebrate. Waves can tailor the day to your needs, including a pick up and drop off in the Waves Bus, at a location that suits you.
We’ve got catering covered, or you can supply your own.
Whether it’s Surfing, skateboarding, swimming or beach activities – we will create the party of all parties to suit your kid’s dreams. Max number 18 kids.
Waves also runs Overnight School Camps year groups – for up to 40 kids.
Private Groups
Surfing is perfect for every occasion. Hens, Bucks or Stag Days, Sporting Team end of season celebrations, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Birthdays or any other thing worth celebrating!
Organise a day a weekend. You also have the option of getting Waves transporting and catering.
Corporate or School Groups
Team Building, Office Morale, End of year celebration – call on Waves to get the work place back on its feet – overnight or weekend trips can be planned.
School year group camps or excursions. We can just keep it all about surfing, or tie in some history, geography or sports curriculum.
Surf Guiding
Surfing Sydney with Waves’ head coach, Deano has got to be up there as one of Sydney best tourist attractions. He’s a local surf Guru, Guide and ASI Accredited Surf Instructor. Having surfed this part of the world since he was 7 years old means he’s clocked 1/2 a century of carving, cruising and cutting back – with the odd epic wipe out of course). From city beaches to secret secluded local’s beaches, he’ll take. you where the swell is working!
Whether you’re a long boarder, short boarder, body boarder, stand up paddle border, super experienced or just a beginner you’ll be looked after.
